Poppy Seed Roll Recipe

My mom's version of poppy seed roll. This poppy seed roll is a famous Europian holiday bread. It is simple and easy to make.
The dough is soft and the filling is delicious. Here's the recipe.

Dough Ingredients:
4 cups flour
1 cup water
2 large eggs
1/4 cup melted butter
2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugars
3 tbs. skim milk powder
2 tsp. Yeast

Filling Ingredients:
250 grams poppy seeds
1/4 butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup walnut
1/2 cup raisins

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
For the dough:
  1. Pour 1 cups warm water into a large bowl; sprinkle with yeast and let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes.
  2. Whisk sugar, melted butter, eggs and salt into yeast mixture. Add flour and 3 tablespoon skim milk powder and mix until a sticky dough forms. Knead for about 5- 8 minutes. Transfer dough to an oiled bowl and brush top with oil. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm, draft-free place until dough has doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
Turn out onto a lightly floured work surface and gently knead 1 or 2 times before using.

**You can also use bread machine to make the dough. Just place all ingredients and set it to dough setting.
For the fillings:

Cook poppy seeds in a medium heat pan with 1 cup water and stir constantly for 30 mins.
Pour in the strainer to drain.
Place the poppy seed  in the food processor and process it  for 5 mins.
Add the melted butter, sugar , vanilla , walnut and raisins in food in food processor. And mix all ingredients.

To make the Poppy Roll:

Cut half the dough, roll into rectangular size 10x12 fill in with the poppy seed fillings and roll .
This recipe can make 2 rolls, bake 350 degrees for 50 mins.
